Maryam is a Research Fellow at AUT/ KEDRI and has been principally researching in the field of Artificial intelligence. She leads several projects for development of AI technology to improve decision-making in healthcare. This includes method development for prediction of brain diseases such as stroke and Alzheimer. Maryam completed her PhD in Computer Science at AUT in 2018 and obtained her MSc degree in Computer Engineering from Easter Mediterranean University, North Cyprus in 2012.
